There's a lot to do in Alaska, and regardless of your area of interest, Outdoors Directory offers the most comprehensive coverage on the Internet. 

There are three easy ways to find activities on our site.

1. For general information about a particular activity anywhere in the state of Alaska, click on an activity in the left-hand column on this page.
2. For detailed information on activities in specific locations in Alaska (a particular river, town, etc), go to our Regions page, select the region you are interested in, and then click on the town, river or other feature in that region. This gives you not only information about activities in that specific area, but it also hooks you up with local service providers and others who can help make your trip a success.
3. Check out our forums! We have over 60 forums on just about every outdoor topic you can imagine, with thousands of members viewing and participating every day. The forums offer an opportunity to interact directly with Alaskans and others, and you can obtain specific information about specific locations, activities, and companies to deal with in that area. No matter what you're interested in, we can just about guarantee you'll find it in the forums.

Getting Around in Alaska
