I just get a bit leary of info when people have something to plug or sell at the same time. I just seems very prevelent on this site.
I think we have different views/definitions of towns / regions. When I hear D-ham or King Salmon, I don't think about what is accessible by road but by bush plane from that town. D-ham sure can be a great launching point to some of AK's best floats and rivers for sure.
Anyway, good luck to you. I realize Alaskan guides,lodge owners only have a narrow window in the summer/fall to make a living for the entire year and should cut you all some slack on my end.
