I'm looking to get one more halibut rod.  I plan to use Powerpro line.  Is there any problem with using superbraid line on a rod that has one or more roller guides?  I mean, will the line abraid easily is it gets caught in the roller?  Would you guys recommend just two roller guides, or a rod with all roller guides?

Also, while I have a post going, what are the chances of a 100+ lb. halibut surviving if I set it loose?  I haven't eaten a big one yet, but I hear they aren't the best of eating.  I'd prefer to let a big one go and keep the chickens.  BTW, I'm not from Alaska (yet) so that is why I ask.
