halibut reel

Hi, I already have a few halibut reels, since I used to fish the Texas saltwater. I think they'll be fine. I was just thinking that roller guides would help me use less energy in pulling up buts. I looked at the interline rods and they only offer them in surf, bass and downrigger types...not any short, stubby ones. Which one did the charter guys have when you went out with them?
