Anchorage is fine to base out of. It will allow you to go 2 hours north or south depending on whats hot and that vary's day to day. Try renting one man cats and floating some rivers. That will get you away from people for $50 a day. There are to many to list here. No brainers though.
The farther north you go the better the bow fishing gets when it comes to the Park streams. All of it is based on salmon however. Walk up stream and find fish and youll maybe see 5 people all day on a few of them. Dont forget moose and kroto creek. Do what most of us are to lazy or spoiled to do. WALK upstream. Really the fishing is good for bows right up to byers creek.
Good luck
