[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] Kasilof Posted by alaskanfishguides on Dec 15 2005 The Kasilof is a good river to fish. It has a good early run of Kings, but they are smaller than the Kenai. The average is about 30# in June. The common fishing spot for the bank fisher is at the confluence of the Kasilof and Crooked Creek (called People hole). This is a great place to try fly fishing for kings. Probably the best way to fish this river for kings, however is with a drift boat. It does become crowded, especially on Monday's when the Kenai is closed to guides/motors. The Kasilof is closed to guides on Sunday's. Bait is typically allowed on the Kasilof after May 15. Previous: the kasilof pescador Dec 15 2005 Message Thread:
