Although I've lived and fished here all my life, I still enjoy fishing with guides. They're in tune with the current conditions and hot spots, I always learn some new techniques, and I've yet to meet a guide a didn't like.

Recommendations? My favorite Kenai guide is Fish Magnet in Soldotna. For Lower Cook Inlet and some combo salmon/halibut fishing, I like Pole Benders in Anchor Point. Both use very good equipment, and both have on-site cabins for rent.
