Will you be at Chiniak on Kodiak Island? If so give me a call, you'll have pink's right at Chiniak and Reds running pretty well at Pasagshak. The reds will also be running full force at Saltery river. Problem there is you need an ATV to get to the river...three diferent guides currently run people out there.

Offshore will be just starting to see the silvers in good numbers, kings will be really hot and the Halibut will be excellent.

For the pinks a good medium spining rod with 8 pound line. Pixies, vibrex's, flash glow all work good (lures).

Reds, you can use the same spinning rod or a good 8-9 weight fly rod. Most everyone uses the green apple nymph, supervisor, 2/0 gamakastu red octopus with green mylar or green flash (flys).

Bring good rain gear, waders, camera and plan on a good 5-7 days. There is lots to see and do. Any questions give me a call.
