You guys helped me with my choice of rivers to float last year. We floated the Kanektok late last August and had a GREAT! time. The weather sucked, but the fishing was great.

We're looking at doing another float and right now our first choice is the Anaik. (But we'd listen to other suggestions) We're looking at a 12 day float to give us lots of fishing time sometime in August.

One of the comments we'd heard about float the Aniak is the difficulty floating the braided sections because of many dead ends. One guy said you needed a chainsaw!!!

Anyone have any experience floating the Aniak, if so, how hard was the float?

Any other suggestions?  We're looking for a remote uncrowded float with good Rainbows and Silvers.
