Sheefish

Slim is right, there are no sheefish around Anchorage. We have caught them way up on the Kobuk River. We used a medium spinning rod with a silver spoon. They taste great, a white fish with very good flavor. We prefered them over grayling. Fish and Game has a link that discusses sheefish and it might have better information.
