Try calling the guys at the Yukon, Kuskokwim Refuge office in Bethel or Alaska Dept Fish and Game, Sport Fish Biologist in Bethel - or he might be in Fairbanks this time of year. Sorry I don't have phone numbers but if you get in the Alaska Dept Fish and Game web site you should be able to find it.  Also take a look at the regulations for it. There are some pretty strict regulations in the upper river. I've flown it but never fished it. It isn't heavily used but some folks have enjoyed it. That about all I know. Good luck.
