Hey guys, I'm planning on taking a road trip up to Alaska in mid aug for the silver run. I have never been to Alaska and never fished for salmon, mostly a big trout fisher. The questions I have are these. Where should I go? What river and what section? Is it really worth it to pay for a day float? If so, who is good? Otherwise, will I have good luck just bank fishing? ANY other info you could give, I CAN USE!
