Pike spearing
Posted by Adventures on Mar 06 2006
Well, we dicided at the last second to go to a couple of small lakes about 6 miles west of trapper (no names) First time spearing we got 2 pike witht eh spear and 2 with tip ups. spent the night in the actic oven tent we just bought (pretty nice) The trails to alexander lake we really good and the trail to get to these lakes was fair. Not marked very well though. Biggest pike was about 8 lbs.
The water was really clear, perfect for spearing. If anyone wants directions to this plce PM me and I'll get them to you. Just thought I'd fill you guys in on my weekend pike trip.
