line suggestion

I typically spool my fall reals with 15# test Trilene and have not experienced any mainline failure on coho's or sockeyes.  In fact, we landed many incidentally caught, bright 40-50 pound kings last year on this line.

Ande's is also great line.  If you are busting your mainline, lighten up on the drag a bit.  In my opinion 15# is plenty.

So is 20# bad?  I don't think so. Many folks indeed will use 20# for sockeye fishing, primarily because they are in very fast current and big water (at least on the Kenai).  The advantage of 15# test is less effect in the current than the bigger lines.
