I agree with the Maxima ultra green,(not brown) seems to be a little less memory, tougher & resistant to knicks etc and a little smaller diameter.  I would go for 20-25# also, just for a little "buffer" because there will be crowds pretty much wherever you go and yes the current is little more "brisk" in the kenai and kasilof.  Go to Kens tackle or soldotna trustworthy hardware and they can spool it right there for you too...
