Gray,
If you have the rod/reel combos you want, go to the show, go see B&J, buy some Power-pro line. The price is good, they'll spool it with backing. They are an awesome outfit. Not ALWAYS the best price, but generally competitive, and you CANNOT beat the service.
If you are still in the market for rod/reels, they are still a good bet. And other accessories.
You can get some great stuff on eBay, you just gotta know what you want/need. I've got some great deals on Avet reels there.
