Gagnon
Posted by Mort on Mar 11 2006
Ah, understand now.  I can't really speak to your exact product.  I would take it in to B&J and ask.  I have bought gagnon (woven nylon leader material) there, they also helped me learn the proper knot to tie.  I prefer the gagnon over really heavy mono as it gives me something to grab to bring fish into the boat without gaffing.  You can set up a leader to be used with jigs, for the same reason.

If you go the gagnon route, an easier knot is the "perfection" knot. Run a Google search.  Very strong, very easy to tie.

Cheers.
