2-4 Hours

Nothing in Alaska is within 2-4 hours, unless you are at a base camp. Seward would be the closest to get to good salt. The weather is even more important here. GPS, chartplotter would be better. Good como gear and exposure suits. You have maybe 15 minutes in the water, lots of submerged rocks, lots, and lots. PWS is a great place. I'm retired Army and have been here a couple years. Do a search for PWS on this forum and do your homework. Be safe and good luck.
