free tickets...
Posted by Kid on Mar 19 2006
check with Alaska Air now to see if they have availability for your free tickets when you want to go. I had the same thing happen some years ago, it took a while before they would actually let me go somewhere on the free tickets, but in the end they did waive the "one connecting flight" limitation so that I could go from Reno, NV all the way to Dillingham, which required 2 connections.
I think Tangle Lakes would be a good trip, plus there are a lot of fun things for a 10 year old to experience in Fairbanks. don't miss the old Alaskaland park, they call it something else now but it is still pretty neat.  also, the Natural History Museum at UAF is great!
