Bush Pilots - Yes
Posted by Phil on Mar 25 2004
I've flown with some darn good "bush" pilots and they all deserve our respect. One I remember especially, came to work to fly me back goat hunting. The day we flew was supposed to be his first day off in over 3 weeks!!! Not only that but he put me in on an alpine lake that I didn't think was big enough for the plane to sit on.

That said, the old timers who flew open cockpit planes and quit flying when the temp hit -50 degrees were a different breed of person than I am. I certainly have no interest in heating oil over a wood stove so I can start my plane in the early morning:):):)
