We have been using it for the past six years and have never had meat surface spoil, nor get fly eggs. The package has the directions on it and just mix it and then spray your meat . Make sure you get it into any cuts, bone ends etc. We also pretreat all of our game bags by soaking them in the mixture and letting them dry and then vacum paking them.
