For starters, make sure it's a food-grade product. After that, you'll see variations of a couple of bucks either way for a few ounces. I wouldn't sweat that too much; after all, when you're paying several thousand dollars for an Alaska hunt, what's a couple of bucks. I prefer paying a little more for getting it from a meat shop that can also provide meat care instructions for free. For me it's a way of supporting the business that helped me do a better job of meat care. I'd avoid buying it in bulk- what are you gonna do with five pounds of the stuff, when four ounces will take care of an entire moose? Just a thought.
