I've been reading the thread on handguns, especially about the .454 and the four inch .44 mag.  There is a lot of good information here. I am inviting you to share your knowledge and experience with handguns in a new group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/454casull/
This group was just started the day of this post, so there is not much there yet. I'm hoping you will add to it.

This group was started due to the new .454 Ruger Alaskan.  Almost no one we've come in contact with likes the 2.5 inch bbl.  I would appreciate it if you would give your opinions and share your exeriences and feeling about using a handgun against the big black bears and Grizzlies.  This would be much appreciated.
