[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] More info Posted by Forestar on Apr 05 2005 I don't know anything about the Misty Fjord area, but there are two deep inlets on south Chichagof -- Tenakee Inlet and Hoonah Sound - along with numerous small bays. Both offer pretty good protection from rough weather/water. There's a FS cabin in Hoonah Sound (and other places along Peril Straight), but its also a pretty popular area with the locals. Lots of bears in that area (north Baranof / south Chichagof), but lots of bear hunters too (IMO).
