you missed the point(s)

finding a point of view incomprehensible is not the same as its being incoherent.
if you think it is "obvious" that predator control is coming from biologists  at ADFG and therefor <must> be based on principles of "sound wildlife management" and "consistent with maintaining healthy populations and balance"  then i have a bridge to sell you <GRIN>.
the current predator control plans of the BOG are being concieved and carried out for political reasons only.
more bubba's  getting to kill more moose is not an end that justifies the current means.
if you want  good information there is plenty here and on the other forum. look at posts by bushrat and cazador and biologist.
there are plenty of online studies from independent and department biologists available, and if you take the time to educate yourself  you may find that your opinions of current policies will change.
again and again i've stated that the  "'anti's" are an insignificant factor when it comes to hunting.  it is the non-hunters that will sway public sentiment enough to threaten hunting if they see eggregious mis-management of resources they  assumed were being  carefully cared for  and managed for future generations.
when the non hunting public sees too many " killers" claiming to be hunters that is what they're overriding impression of us will be.  zealots of any flavor are annoying and counter-productive to the causes they support.
reasonable  arguments based on researched supportable data can continue to justify sound wildlife management.
in the long run a bunch of bubbas screaming "we gotta kill everything with pointy teeth so we can kill more moose and caribou" is not giong to have any more credence then priscilla feral parading around with a sign that says "meat is murder"
