Brands like WinMag suggested - this will become one of your best bets because you enhance your footing (climbing & descending) while steadying your shooting if needed... double duty using the same gear.  Use a Mega-mid, beta-mid or Marmot's new single wall tents & triple your duty!

Never needed a Bipod for hunting in Alaska - have had a few good ones and don't use a one!

Some like the shooting sticks - I prefer to bring along a fishing rod for extras.
