Remington Model 7 Youth Model
Posted by Eric on Apr 22 2005
My 7 year old shoots a 243. The gun comes with a limbsaver recoil pad already installed.
They come in about a half dozen calibers imcluding .308 and 7mm-08.
Hardly any recoil at all. Like I said, my son is 7 and wieghs about 59 lbs and he shoots it very well. The stock on the youth model versus the regular model 7 is about an inch or so shorter, making it very easy to reach the trigger for the little guys.
Good Luck
Eric
