August
Posted by B_M on Apr 23 2005
That's a fine time to go, but you may have to drive a little farther north.  I'm going to be heading that way on the 14th of August, unless I draw a different caribou tag.  I've also only been up later in the year, but I know many people who have been successful in August.

Take a look through the archives here.  I spent 2 hours going through old posts about the haul road a few nights ago and only scratched the surface.  There's lots of info about August up on the slope.
