I would look into Image Stablizied optics.
Canon, Fujinon, Burris
or the lesser Nikon & Bushnell
Here is the wisdom or why I recommend these:
A mount (pod, etc.) is required to do serious binocular observing above 10x due to the ‘shakes’, and this is where the image stabilization factor kicks in – it simply raises this 10x plus ‘mounting’ threshold.
#2 here is the problem w/ your binos:
I do not like the eyecups on the Steiner Pred. – they are uncomfortable and too high. The result is that they fog easily and the image can become vignetted... particularly when not fully rested w/ a little shivering, being unsteady, and unsupported.
Advice for what you are hankering after:
Bigger objectives give greater light grasp right? Sort of - in reality they transmit light.
For example - superior optics do a better job of focusing a brighter light more effectively & efficiently.
Higher magnifications will let you see fainter, less distinguishable objects as well as darken available light… correct? Yep, pretty much so.
There’s a bunch of other stuff like contrast, resolution, optical alignment, exit pupil, and so on.
Field of view is also important? OK!
What you want is a high-quality middle ground or “focal point” for hunting and give yourself an edge on definition and movement (yours "shaking" "wind", what you are riding in "boat" "plane"..., and the game "itself") w/ out having to worry about packin' the tripod and all... Trust me - Go "IS"!
Great test example is to take up a pair of Image Stabilized binos and a super-expensive, high-magnification set ( or your spotting scope) and look up at moon then find Jupiter... right off the bat you will see w/ "IS" the Jupiter moons and a great field of view (important also for hunting). Now try your spotter or the expensive Leicaswaropinskis... ha! Good luck!!! Take your head away and try again… the "IS" system will have you back in the saddle and the others will torture you even mounted... 'cause the detail including the image is moving continually & long gone.
Best wishes on the scores of choices -
