I will be hunting on Prince of Wales island in about 2 weeks and will be staying in the Staney Creek forest service cabin.  We will be after Black Bears and Blacktail.  Does anyone have any experience hunting that particular area?  If so, will bears still be feeding on Salmon or will they have moved on to berries?  I have a pretty good idea of what to expect after consulting a few locals and F&G folks.  Any additional comments would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.
