Thanks for that report. I'm glad you had a plan B. Sounds like your trip could have been a big bust, but you were able to adjust mid-stream and redeem it. I guess that sat phone was a pretty critical piece of equipment. I'm bummed for you about the caribou/reindeer though. I just called Kodiak F&G and there isn't any registration. You just need a regular old caribou harvest ticket like you'd get for anywhere else-like the haul road. I know you have been up there already, so you probably already had some harvest tickets left.
