The tents I am considering purchasing are such...
- Barney's Bombshelter
- Cabela's XWT
- Artic Oven
- all in the 10 x 10 model

I think the Cabela's Guide mentioned earlier is a great tent for the money but I would be a little leary to use it on Kodiak or any other area that could get REAL extreme winds.

I don't think I have seen many comments re: the Cabela's XWT Tent...anyone used it in extreme winds?  Say Kodiak?

Is the Artic Oven built for Kodiak conditions?  Which stove should I purchase if I go with this one?

I am in the military and will move back to the lower 48 in Aug 07.  I plan to return at least once a year to chase critters up here.  I need a tent that will last for several years, can take the EXTREME winds/abuse of AK and has a great warranty (such as Cabela's).  Thoughts???
