[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] Latern Posted by Snowwolfe on Oct 08 2005 I use a double mantle latern and it keeps the tent nice and toasty. But since it is a "wet" type of heat the wood stove is still better for pushing out the moisture. I would guess if the outside temperature is 30 degrees using the latern will heat it up to about 60-65 degrees. If you want to dry out gloves, etc just hang them on a rope on the top of the tent where the heat rises to. I thought about carrying one of those small battery powered fans to push the heated air around but can never seem to remember to take one when I go hunting.
