Russ basically shares techniques and experiences on how the approach goes.

There may be better books on experiences but there are not many books
that provide the instruction that Russ's book does.

Alaskan Hunter by Ray Chandler, Campfires along the Yukon, Trails of the Golden Cross, Into Alaska-Yukon Gamefields that run on the same vein as G.O. Young's classic.  These books range from turn of the century to 1960's for Alaska Hunter.

But Russ's new book is indeed the gospel on getting closer to sheep.

I would contend that it is a tutorial that can pretty much serve as an educational resource on getting close to sheep.

I probably have a better than average library since most of my books are
first editions.

The Russ book speaks the truth.
