Which Ones"

"You need to go back to your reg books on equality buddy. There are a hole SLEW of hunts that are a fry cry from being remotely equal!"

You may be right. The one that sticks in my mind is the snowmobile hunt in the Dalton Hwy Corridor. There the locals don't even need harvest tickets, and aren't required to report their harvests. Now how does THAT help species management?

I mentioned in another post that all Tier II hunts are priviledged hunts. They were originally initiated in order to satisfy the feds, but their heads are as hard as the rural folks. Nothing pleases them. So why does it still exist? Why do we need both a federal and a state subsistence hunting program? (Again, I'm a regular beneficiary of the Nelchina Tier II hunt; that don't make it right to me).

The Federal Subsistence Hunting Regs? Well, we all know that the entire Federal hunting system is only for a select few.

Drawing and registration hunts are equal opportunity. We all have an equal opportunity to apply and be selected.

What other hunts do you know of that are set aside for the priviledged?
