I agree with Tradbow on this one...stop the presses.  LOL!
Although I regard Russ' first work as a must read for any sheep hunter, the basic recipe for stalking sheep involves getting-and staying-high, watching the wind, using all available cover and ambushing from above. Certainly there are subtle nuanses learned through experience, as with anything.
I think overall this is common sense. If I were new to sheep hunting, I'd save the dough and study full curl definitions, and view photos of legal vs. illegal sheep--thats practical and imperative.
