[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] meat spoilage Posted by viktor on Oct 18 2005 Regardless of what happened when you shoot an animal you have to find a way to take care of it. There really is no excuse other then a bear taking ownership of it. You say you were near water, i have wrapped meat up in a tarp and have kept it in the water, it came out fine. I noticed that you did not mention that your cape was slipping or falling apart, you must have found a way to take care of that! When someone gets caught up in the excitement and starts shooting to many animals they are responsibile. It is a crying shame to see good animals wasted. I truly believe in the carma of mother nature and her wrath will probably awaiting you on your next trip! Previous: It's not adding up... AlaskaHippie Oct 18 2005 Message Thread:
