... to make it personal, Mr. Quinn.  This is a perfectly legitimate question to ask given the information brought forth.  Are you suggesting that we say nothing about wanton waste?  On the contrary, this is the perfect place for such a discussion.  I'm not judging anything here; just asking some questions for clarification, and I appreciate Shawn's honesty and forthrightness in discussing this.

As you are well aware, the hunting regulations are very specific in this area.  I didn't write those regulations, but I do follow them.  I'm also a big believer in clean salvage of game animals and have written a lot about that here in this forum.  I will continue to do so.

Having said that, I welcome any insights you may have on these kinds of situations, especially as they relate to the Alaska Hunting Regulations.  If you've found yourself in similar circumstances in the past, how did you handle it?  What would your recommendations be?
