[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] rut dates Posted by TradBow on Oct 20 2005 I am curious I know penned game, be it whitetails, elk, bison have within a day or two over a progression of years shown that the rut does fall fairly predictably. This includes and has been proven on wild whitetails. I am curious though why caribou, or any other animal for that matter would be different, say over a 5 day period average over the years? There are always years where things swing one way or the other, no doubt. I am referring to over time instead of a year to year basis.
