And I have never had a client during 10 years of guiding take a sub-legal ram. While some guys may choose to pass up perfectly legal rams that do not meet full curl criteria (whatever this is, no one seems to know for sure), we continue to average well above the state average for length and mass, and the average ram we harvest is right at 9 years old, and this is in an area with intensive competition.

For those guys that dismiss the counting of annuli, and look only for the full curl, all I can say is we hope that we get more guys like this in the drainages we hunt, because we are right around the corner.
