That being said........I have owned a pair of Leica 10 x 40's for about 15 years. Absolutely first rate glass. I love them and will never sell them. I recently added a pair of the Zeiss FL 10 x 40 ( maybe 42, not sure). They are as nice and maybe better than the Leica's but they have a lifetime warranty even if I sell them to someone else.
