Some things I forgot.  The hide used as a tarp came from Bushrat.

1.  Don't shoot a moose in the water.

2.  On single-sex hunts, leave evidence of sex naturally attached to one hind quarter (just 4" of the skinned-out tube is enough.

3.  You can use the hide for a tarp on your meat rack if you have to.

4.  Be sure to have your game bags and trash bag pack liner with you at all times.

5.  Leave the meat on the bone if possible; it keeps better that way.

There are other ideas too; these are things I do.
