dvd/Videotape for hunters.
Posted by kaboku68 on Oct 22 2005
I took my class on a field trip to ADF&G on Thursday. We were going through the sealing
lab and there were two less than full curl sheep skulls.  They also had a big poster that was a guide to state specifications of what is a full curl or legal ram.

I started thinking. One of the best groups of hunters that we, sheephunters, like to recruit to our fold, are the military hunters. The sealing problems might be even more problematic if we had all of our brave soldiers back from Iraq.

I believe that state needs to produce a tape of legal and sub-legal sheep and opportunities of when a hunter should take a shoot-for these hunters who generally go out and learn on their own and for those sheep hunters to build on their knowledge base on their own.

American Hunter has a section of when and when not to take the shot.  I think that this
would be great element of this video.

They could make one for Sows with cubs and spike/fork or 50 inch moose.
