I treat game bags to keep the flies from laying eggs on the bags, which will spoil the meat around the eggs. I use a 5 gallon bucket filled half way up with COLD water. Then I add the largest bottle of lemon juice that you can buy at the store. Next add the largest bottle of Tabasco sauce that you can buy at the store. Mix them well and then insert your game bags into the solution a couple at a time. Let them soak in the mix for about thirty minutes. When you take them out ring the excess liquid and hang until completely dry. Once they are dry I like to vacuum seal them. This allows for storage and keeps your pack and cloths from smelling of Tabasco. If you fail to harvest an animal the bags will still be good for next year. I have used this when the flies are at there worst, millions of them flying around and they won’t even dare land on your precious game meat. Give it a try it works awesome.
