[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] Yep, tried the Minox Posted by DennisM on Oct 22 2005 I just bought a pair of the Minox 15x58's with a tripod. I got them from Doug at CameraLand in NYC. Price was about what you're quoting. I didn't get them in enough time to really hash them out before leaving on my trip to Adak, but I used them up there and they worked out very well. The guide was impressed as well. Much better than a spotter as far as comfort goes. I used a Bogen tripod and the adapter comes with the binocs. Sorry I can't be of more technical help, but they worked well for me. Can't wait to try them out on a western US hunt. I really wouldn't want to use them without the tripod, tho.
