In my previous post I made an error in which I said the Caribou season was closed (GMU 17) during a certain time of year that coinsides w/ the rut. That statement was NOT correct, a mistake on my part.

For what its worth, this very topic had been talked about, in detail, for a long time between myself and another local person. For reasons which I can not explain I must have been confused and thought the season closure had already been included into the current regulations. Of course this regulation is not in the current rule book, yet.
Thank you to the folks who kindly pointed out my error, and my appologies for this error.
