[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] ticket Posted by foodog2 on Oct 24 2005 He gave me a ticket, but it just says negligently took bull out of season and gives me a court date. The trooper was cool about it, and said it was a mistake, but it was a mandatory court date. He took the meat and my cow permitt as evidence and that was it. He said had I not salvaged the meat it would have been really bad, but I did the right thing. Definately not worth losing all my gear and stuff for a mistake. I owned up to it and feel really bad about it, I just hope it does not cost me thousands. He did say that it is different to get a spike and think it was a cow vs a 50" bull, and it happens all tghe time. I am just worried. I am no poacher, just madfe a mistake.
