For the birds
Posted by 375ultramag on Oct 25 2005
This year on the Yukon we were in tons I mean Tons of Willow Ptarmigan. Anyways I was walking down the beach to do my morning duty and lol and behold there is 13 yes I counted 13 birds sitting on the beach. So I snuck up close to them and took a good aim at the birds I always consider not so brite. Bang I shoot and as they all fly off I see feathers everywhere. As my bird is flying I shoot again and miss as he is going in to the willows. I follow them in thinking he's not going far. That was the end of that. Never got one of them.
