I ended up on 37 a few years ago when a culvert washed out and they were talking 4 days to fix the road to Dawson.  Thirty seven was not too bad. It will be slower as there are a lot of logging in the area. I was impressed by the number of bears I saw.  Not a bad route, just going to be slower with less facilities along the way.

Once on Route 16 it was much better and faster.
