I drove it in Nov a couple years ago.  If you hit a snow storm you can be in trouble.  I was traveling north and it was a nail biting experience.  Almost no on on the highway and drove for many hours in a snowstorm without seeing a single snow plow. We had to travel very slowly because of visibility problems and difficulty to see the edge of the road.  In some areas there is really no good place to stop.

When we got back on the Alcan it felt like a freeway.
